Herman DUARTE, Founder

I am 30 years old, 9 of being a lawyer (in El Salvador and Costa Rica). I am Salvadoran and Swiss, I live in Costa Rica, I love Real Madrid games, Pink Floyd, Kiss and Led Zeppelin. I also like to write: I have written 1 book, I am co-author of 8 and I have more than 60 opinion columns in the Press of 3 different countries. It seems, also, that I am always giving a lecture but it is not true, I just wakeup very early and go to bed very late, because most of my time is dedicated in helping (not serving, but helping) business owners in solving their problems in an integral way, so I founded my office political, legal and business consultancies: Hduarte Legål. If you have a problem, I can solve it in an ethical, transparent and efficient way.

I am also gay, so I recognize my privilege and moral obligation to improve the conditions of all people, which is the reason I founded the Latin American Foundation for the Promotion and Protection of the LGBTI Population -Igualitxs-. I am a member of the Board of Directors of the Costa Rican Institute of Civil and Scientific Procedural Law and Alliance for the Rule of Law - ROLI and I also serve as Liaison Officer of the Regional Forum of Latin America of the Committee of Human Rights Law of the International Bar Association
